Starting MILLECOR, the mission was clear: (1) create a lineup of premium products catering to military members, first responders, and their supporters, and (2) give back to non-profit efforts that would benefit veterans, first responders and their families.


As a small, family-owned business, we cherish every customer and feel more like a part of a big family than a business.  We are humbled and honored to be able to serve our awesome customers every day.


We are on a mission to give gains and give back. that’s why, with a portion of every order, we give back to non-profit efforts benefiting veterans, first responders, and their families.

I wanted to reward all my customers, regardless of whether they’re eligible for our Hero Discount. With the points and rewards system I deployed with Lootly, I can reward all customers for various actions: leaving a review, educating them on our mission and more. Lootly helps me keep track of all this in a clean way

Challenge

Millecor was initially looking for a more effective way to gather reviews from customers. 

Their strategy was to award a discount coupon to anyone who would leave a review for their products. However, this wasn’t very effective, because they also offer their customers the Hero Discount ( special discount which we offer to eligible customers such as veterans, first responders, teachers etc) which saves them a lot more than what the review coupon was worth.  They weren't hitting their goal of getting more reviews. 


While researching Trustspot, Jason found out about Lootly, which showed him a different approach: rewarding points for leaving reviews. He decided that this will work much better for the business and for the customers, and will incentivize them to leave a review. 

Also, he could reward equally all his customers, not just the ones that qualify for the Hero Discount. 


Essentially Jason realized he can offer a lot more to their customers in terms of loyalty; with all the options that Lootly supports, he can reward points for a variety of actions  taken by customers and further strengthen their relationship.


Solution

While Millecor’s  journey with Lootly started by looking for an effective way to gather more reviews from customers, it quickly evolved into a system they rely on for much more than that. 

As a company,  Millecor are very close with their customers and very personal and want to reward them in various ways. 

With Lootly’s points and rewards system, Millecor was able to deploy a strategy for rewarding existing customers and keeping them coming back to the store. 


They were also able to educate them on not just the products, but also on the company mission and everything they do to support non-profit efforts benefiting veterans. 

They also deployed a referrals program that works quite well in bringing them new customers.


As a small business owner, automation is super important for Jason - with Lootly, he was able to quickly set everything up and just sit back and monitor it. 

He deployed the widget on all pages and also made sure the “Rewards” category is emphasized in the top bar, so people can access the dedicated rewards page with all the info.

Results

Millecor runs loyalty and referrals marketing with Lootly for over a year now. They deployed the programs at the end of 2019, and have noted a significant increase in the number of returning customers during 2020. 

To be precise, they noted a 14% increase in returning customers in 2020 before the Covid crisis hit. 


In the last three months, Lootly has generated ~$9k in value for the business, which is an increase of 20% compared to previous months.
